Welcome to my blog! My name is Danielle Mariko Lee.
“What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?” – Vincent Van Gogh
For as long as I can remember, I have always found solace in writing things down. My love for writing started as a kid with short stories and imaginary characters and eventually transitioned to the journalism programs at my middle and high schools. Writing is a part of my everyday life whether it be endless trains of thoughts scribbled in my journals or putting together a daily to-do list.
I started this blog as a way to develop a platform where I can share my original and unique ideas, and expand my personal and professional network. I love the challenge of having to be constantly thinking on my feet and coming up with new content to write for posts. It’s allowed me to open my eyes to the world around me and develop a greater appreciation for my environment.
Currently, I am a second year Business Administration student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a concentration in Information Systems and minors in Ethnic Studies and Psychology. Visit my LinkedIn profile for more about my professional achievements.
I am originally from the small coastal town of Encinitas, California. I would love to be working in a city someday but for now I am loving every second of college, embracing each and every moment and learning and growing alongside some of my best friends.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog!
